The GICA is an alliance of faculty, staff and students who are committed to improving the world by promoting intercultural dialogue and increasing awareness of important international issues.  We seek to educate ourselves and support each other in our mission of using effective communication to make the world a more just, equitable place to live. We also seek to empower the greater UTSA community with the knowledge of how its political, social, and economic decisions affect the world at large. To this end we believe that having fun, affecting a positive message, and finding creative, compelling ways to share our vision are essential.

All current UTSA faculty, staff and students in good standing with an interest are invited to join GICA.
